The making of Malaysian Independence Day Human Graphics performance by students in teacher training institutes around West Malaysia, starting on September 6 to September 16. This being the first time ever for Human Graphics to be performed at Dataran Merdeka during Independence Day, we went through fully packed days and restless training to ready the performance in a brief 10 days period.
IPBA dudes and I were at Section D1, which was the front left corner, making it the most obvious section and appeared most frequently on TV3 live broadcast on Friday. Our section consist of 44 IPBA dudes and 5 guys from IPIK and one from IPGKTAA.
We had to wake up at 4 in the morning and have our morning practice till lunch break and afternoon break in the afternoon. We'd be back for practice at Dataran Merdeka at 8pm and the drilling ends near midnight.
Our props used in the finale to complete the event are pom-poms, umbrellas, flags and gloves. There are 125 slides of graphics altogether, 58 wordings and 67 slides of colours and pictures.
What makes it worth it, is that we had made history for the first human graphics performance to be carried out in Malaysia.
IPG boleh? BOLEH!
